Privacy notice
This notice explains which personal data we process, why we process it and how you can exercise your rights. The site is a showcase: static pages, no account, no form that sends data to a server, no profiling cookie. Booking happens on Airbnb, not on this site.

Data controller
The data controller is A&G Home, the operator of the short-stay tourist accommodation business, based at Viale Luigi Cadorna 37, 96100 Syracuse (SR), Italy, ground floor. The business is not run from a different address: the one given here is where the homes are.
For any request about your data you can write to AeG.home.sr@gmail.com or call 338 944 2554.
The National Identification Code (CIN) of the property is IT089017C28DBGVSOG. You can check it in the national register of tourist accommodation run by the Ministry of Tourism.
No Data Protection Officer (DPO) has been appointed: the data controller is the point of contact for every request.
What this site is
This site is a showcase. The pages are static files: there is no database, no members’ area, no contact form that sends data to a server and no booking system.
We do not use profiling tools and we do not set profiling cookies. Browsing the pages sends us no data and builds no profile about you.
Booking and payment of the stay happen entirely on Airbnb, where you enter your details and accept Airbnb’s terms. Here you can instead write to us by email or on WhatsApp, and we will reply.
What data we process and on which legal basis
We only process the data that reaches us from you or from Airbnb. We do not collect data automatically and we do not profile.
We do not use your data for marketing, we do not sell it and we do not pass it to third parties for profiling purposes. The only processing that could rely on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) is the one aimed at defending our rights and answering legitimate requests from third parties: even then you can object by writing to AeG.home.sr@gmail.com.
- Data you send us: first and last name, phone number or email address, dates of your stay, number of guests and any other detail you decide to share. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for the performance of the service you asked for, and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR for the spontaneous requests you send us.
- Stay and booking data: the guest’s name and contact details, arrival and departure dates, number of guests and the details required for registration under the rules on tourist accommodation. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for the performance of the service you asked for, and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR for legal obligations, including publication of the CIN in the national register and reporting to the police.
- National Identification Code (CIN): it is public data, required by law and verifiable by anyone in the national register of tourist accommodation . We process it to comply with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Recipients of the data
The data relating to your stay is shared with Airbnb Ireland UC, the Irish company that runs the platform where the accommodation is booked. For that data Airbnb acts as an external controller.
Airbnb transfers data outside the European Economic Area, to the United States, which does not benefit from an adequate level of protection. The transfer is governed by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and by the additional safeguards provided for under Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
We also receive data from the competent public authorities, for the legal obligations that concern them, for example reporting stay data to the police.
The provider hosting the site receives the technical data of the connection, such as the IP address and the time of the request, so that it can serve the pages: this is its own data, processed under its own rules, and A&G Home does not use it to profile you.
Our role with booking data
The site you are reading does not enter into contracts, does not handle payments and does not manage bookings. The hospitality agreement is concluded on Airbnb, with Airbnb Ireland UC as counterparty, under the conditions of the listing.
For the data collected on Airbnb — name, contact details, arrival and departure dates, payment data — the data controller is Airbnb. We are not the controller of that data: we receive it from the platform only to deliver the stay and to meet legal obligations.
For any request that concerns that data, for example correcting a name or deleting a past stay, you have to contact Airbnb. For the data you have given us directly, come to us.
How long we keep the data
The requests and messages you send us, by email or on WhatsApp, are kept for as long as it takes to answer you and handle the relationship, and in any case for a maximum of 24 months, unless a longer period follows from a legal obligation or from the need to establish, exercise or defend rights.
Booking data is kept for the periods required by the applicable tax and civil rules.
Data relating to reviews published on Airbnb remains under Airbnb’s control, which keeps it according to its own rules.
Browsing data does not exist: the site uses no statistics tool and sets no profiling cookie.
Data security
We adopt technical and organisational measures suited to the service offered. The site is static and has no database: the data you send us arrives by email or on WhatsApp, so through channels that do not depend on us.
Emails are not encrypted end-to-end: like any other email, they can be read by the mail providers used for sending. If you prefer a more private channel, write to us on WhatsApp.
We never publish guests’ data and we never share it for purposes other than those described in this notice.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to know your personal data and to receive a copy of it (Art. 15 GDPR), to have it rectified (Art. 16), erased (Art. 17), restricted (Art. 18), to object to the processing (Art. 21) and to receive it in a portable format (Art. 20).
Write to AeG.home.sr@gmail.com: to protect your privacy we first check your identity, then we reply within thirty days.
The consent you gave for a spontaneous request can be withdrawn at any time, with no need to explain why. Withdrawal is free of charge and does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before it.
Objection is always free and does not condition the performance of the service: if you think a processing is not justified, write to us and we will assess your request.
Complaint to the Garante and court action
If you think that the processing of your data infringes the GDPR, you can lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, which is based at Piazza di Monte Citorio no. 120, 00186 Rome. The complaint form and the contact details are on the Garante’s website .
You can also refer to the supervisory authority of the country where you live.
If the complaint does not lead to a solution you consider satisfactory, you can take the matter to a court. In Sicily the court competent for Garante decisions is the Regional Administrative Court for Sicily, Catania section. Court action does not suspend the complaint to the Garante (Art. 139(2) GDPR).
Data of minors
The service is aimed at adult guests. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors and we do not offer services to anyone under 18.
If a minor writes to us, we do not process their data for commercial purposes: we use it only to reply to the parent or the guardian and, if you ask us to, we delete it.
Changes to this notice
This notice is updated whenever the site, the services offered or the applicable legal obligations change. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of the page.
Substantive changes are published on this same page, with the updated date. If a change concerns data you have given us, we tell you by email.
For any question about this notice you can write to AeG.home.sr@gmail.com or call 338 944 2554. The cookie policy and the legal notice will also help.
